This exhibition gathers in seven panels the social, industrial, natural and cultural history of the district of Villaverde (Madrid) with a special focus on the fossil remains collected in the main sites found during the twentieth century. In addition, a touch station built in wood supports five real-size fossil pieces made with 3D printing.
At the exhibition opening, both at the Marconi Sociocultural Center and the Museo de San Isidro. Los orígenes de Madrid, different institutions were invited such as the Department of Culture of the Junta Municipal Distrito of Villaverde, the City of Madrid, the area of Prehistory of the National Archaeological Museum, the UCM Somosaguas Paleontological Site Project, neighbourhood associations, research staff involved in the project, etc.
In addition, a technical dossier containing information on the exhibition and a triptych was created.
